Credits, Payments and Custody
Effective: 6 November 2026 Applies to: PageVerified at https://pageverified.com. Explains what PageVerified credits are, how payments work, and what PageVerified does not do with money.
---
In plain English
PageVerified sells prepaid credits that can only be spent on PageVerified's own tools. Credits are not money. PageVerified does not hold money for anyone, does not move money between other people, and is not a wallet, an escrow service or a payment provider.
1. What credits are
- Credits are prepaid units for calling PageVerified tools. Each tool states its cost in credits.
- Credits can only be used on PageVerified. They cannot be withdrawn, cashed out, sent to someone else, or spent anywhere else.
- Credits have no cash value. Refunds of unused credit purchases are handled under the Refund Policy, back to the original payment method.
2. How a payment works
- You choose a credit pack or placement on pageverified.com and pay on a Stripe checkout page.
- Stripe processes the payment on its own systems. PageVerified never sees or stores card numbers.
- Stripe confirms the payment to PageVerified with a signed message, and PageVerified issues your key or starts your placement.
- Refunds go back through Stripe to the original payment method.
3. What PageVerified does not do
- Hold money in a wallet, float or escrow for customers or anyone else.
- Let customers send credits or money to each other.
- Make payments on behalf of a customer's AI agent.
- Pay third-party sellers out of customer funds. Payouts to sellers are not currently offered.
If any of this changes, this page will be updated before the change goes live.
4. AI agents
When an AI agent buys credits, the person or business it acts for is the buyer. PageVerified never receives the agent's payment credentials.
