Privacy Policy

Effective: 6 November 2026 Applies to: PageVerified at https://pageverified.com, its API, its directory and its checkout.

---

1. Summary

  • PageVerified is an API service for AI agents and the people who build them. Most of what we handle is technical: API keys, credit balances, the URLs you ask us to capture, and records of each call.
  • We do not keep the content you send to our tools. A call's receipt records which tool ran, when, and what it cost, not what you sent.
  • We do not sell personal information, show ads, or use advertising trackers.
  • Payments are taken by Stripe. We never see your card details.

2. What we collect, and why

When you get an API key. A key label you choose, and a one-way hash of your IP address so we can limit how many free keys one network can issue. We never store the raw IP address. Your key itself is stored only as a hash: we cannot show it to you again.

When you call a tool. For each call: the key, the tool, the credits charged, the time, and whether it succeeded. The content of your request (text, files, numbers, addresses) is used to produce the answer and is not stored.

When you capture a page. The URL you asked for, the format, the captured file, its SHA-256 hash, its size and the time. The file is stored privately and reached through a link that expires after 24 hours. If you ask for a public receipt, the URL, time, format and hash are shown on a public page.

When you buy a Capture Record. The signed record (URL, format, hash, size, time, call id) is returned to you. We do not store a separate copy beyond the capture itself.

When you buy credits or a placement. Stripe processes the payment. We receive the checkout session id, what was bought, the amount, and the email address you gave Stripe, so we can issue your key and answer questions about the purchase. For a directory placement we also receive the listing it is for.

When you submit a tool to the directory. The tool's public details (name, website, description, category, pricing model, links) and a contact address for the maker. The public details are published if the tool passes verification. The maker contact is never published or sold. A one-way hash of your IP address is used to limit submissions and is deleted after an hour.

When you request a refund or contact support. What you send us: usually a purchase id or receipt email and your message.

When you visit the website. Our host records standard request logs (IP address, browser, time, page) for security and keeps them only for a short period. We count page views in a way that does not identify you.

We do not collect government identifiers, health information, or card details.

3. Tools run by other sellers

Some tools on PageVerified may be provided by other sellers. Each such tool is marked on its page with the seller's name. When you call one, your request input is sent to that seller to produce the answer, and the seller's own privacy terms also apply. Your API key, email and payment details are never sent to a seller.

4. Who processes your information

We use these service providers. Each handles data only to provide its service to us:

  • Vercel: hosting, request logs and privacy-friendly page counts.
  • Supabase: our database and private file storage.
  • Stripe: payments and checkout.

Our providers operate infrastructure in several countries, so your information may be processed outside the country you live in.

We may disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect the safety, rights or property of our users, others or PageVerified.

5. How long we keep it

  • Purchase records: 7 years, the period tax law requires.
  • API keys, credit balances and call receipts: while the key exists. Ask us and we delete a key and its receipts.
  • Captured files and their details: until you ask us to delete them, so their links and receipts keep working.
  • Directory listings: while the tool is listed. Maker contact details: until the listing is removed or you ask us to delete them.
  • Refund and support requests: while needed to handle the request and any dispute about it. Ask us and we delete them, except what tax law makes us keep.
  • IP hashes: for directory submissions, deleted after one hour. For free keys, kept with the key's issue record so the free-key limit works; deleted on request.
  • Request logs: a short period set by our host.

6. Your choices

You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Deletion does not cover records the law requires us to keep, such as tax records. Contact us through the support page; we aim to act on verified requests within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the privacy regulator where you live.

7. Cookies

PageVerified uses only cookies that are needed for the site to work. There are no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels and no analytics that share personal information with others.

8. Agents acting for someone

When an AI agent uses PageVerified for a person or business, that person or business is treated as the user under this policy and is responsible for having the right to send us the information it sends.

9. Children

PageVerified is a service for businesses and developers. It is not meant for people under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you think we have, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes

When our practices change we update this page and its effective date.
